Dear Shareholders and Friends of Evolving Gold,

Please let me introduce myself.

Just before Christmas, I got a call from Dr. Lawrence Dick, president of Evolving Gold. Evolving was in the doldrums. Larry was managing the company on his own doing routine corporate filings, answering the phone, writing cheques, even calling the courier. By the time he went home he had no time to provide what the company needed most – his geological genius.

He invited me to take over as CEO. I moved to Vancouver from Toronto and as my father (founder of Bick’s Pickles) used to say, “We put on our roller skates and got to work.”

My first job was to remove Larry’s administrative distractions so he could focus on the geology. We then built an admin team - Don Gee (the only accountant we know who is also a geologist) came on as CFO and Lily Andersen took over as office manager, to handle the day-to-day tasks.

We augmented our geology team. Instead of following the popular practice of “renting” consulting geologists on a project to project basis, we sought out Dr. Quinton Hennigh to be a permanent member of Evolving Gold. Recently a senior research geologist with Newmont Gold, the addition of Dr. Hennigh now gives Evolving Gold one of the most powerful geo teams among the junior gold exploration companies.

The best geologists are true artists and searching for gold is as much art as technique. Consider this…they can visualize what is happening underground ! No discovery is possible without their magic mix of scientific knowledge, technical expertise and pure gut feel .

“We’ve got the recipe for finding gold!” Of course that recipe is our geologists. And they produce. In the last two months, they have staked almost 2,000 claims in four different areas in Nevada.

As our geology team develop gold properties, the market wants to hear the news. We hired Bill Gillies, formerly a full time pilot, to get the Evolving story out to the financial institutions, shareholders and future shareholders.

When we are excited, the market responds. We just raised $3,600,000 and the placement was oversubscribed – a great feeling!

The market recognizes the momentum at Evolving Gold. Early this year the stock was trading at $0.19. Today (May 16) we are at $0.52. We are just beginning!!
